I am Yvette Hofman, MSc, a special needs educator, primary school teacher, and mother of three. My passion is supporting children individually, playfully, and with heartfelt care – right where they are in their development.
Originally from the Netherlands, I have worked with children of primary and preschool age in various settings as a qualified special needs educator (Master's degree in Orthopedagogy from Utrecht University). Prior to that, I completed my Bachelor's degree in primary education, which includes teaching and supporting children from age four to twelve.
I work with a solution-oriented approach that focuses on potential rather than weaknesses. Children shouldn't feel like they "can't do something", but instead develop confidence in their abilities. That's precisely what I support them in doing.
I offer support in three languages: German, English, and Dutch, which allows me to work individually and with cultural sensitivity.
My goal: To empower children to forge their own path!

About me
How it works
Get to know each other & build trust
In a free initial consultation, we get to know each other and find out what your child truly needs.
Learn in a positive and relaxed way
Each session is tailored to your child's needs – with joy, flexibility, and curiosity.
Exchange & Celebrate Successes
After each session, I provide brief feedback. This keeps motivation and joy in learning alive.

Playfully prepare for the start of school
I playfully support fine motor skills, concentration, and phonological awareness – for a confident start with numbers, letters, and small moments of success.

Learning a new language is fun!
In small groups or individually, children experience language through games, movement, and everyday situations.

Instead of pressure, more motivation
I support children individually in reading, writing, maths, and learning – with patience, structure, and positive reinforcement.
